The nominee list: I'm really glad Little Miss Sunshine is getting recognition but where's Children of Men? It has 3 nods for best adapted screenplay, cinematography, and film editing. I thought Alfonso Cuarón had the potential for best director and the film itself for best picture. But it's great that the smaller films are getting recognized like Letters from Iwo Jima, The Queen, Little Children, and The Last King of Scotland. Big blockbusters aren't always the best! (In your face, Dreamgirls!) |
