I'll just blame the weather for putting me in this weird funk because we all like to point fingers and have tangible reasons. Seriously though, how does it go from 70 degrees to 30 degrees the next day? And then snow tomorrow? Weather has bipolar disorder.

Anyway, I'm in a weird mood. It's one of those not quite happy, not quite sad, but mostly sad/serious moods. That probably makes no sense, but that's how I feel right now. Or how I've been feeling most of the day. Wait, yeah, exactly like the weather! It started off in the 60's and then gradually made its way down into the 30's. I was okay this morning and then-- poof, gone. Weird mood started.

So it is the weather. Hi, seasonal affective disorder.

My friend picked it out when I was talking on the phone before but I was in denial because if I did say I was in a weird mood, I wouldn't have a reason why (besides weather). I guess it's kind of like a 'Scrubs' episode. There are the laughs and ridiculous moments but in the end, it gets you. I think that's the best way to describe my mood: that serious moment in the show.

Everyone I know from New York is kvetching about the bipolar weather. It's somewhat funny, considering that I am blanketed by unflagging sunshine.

Hi, my name is Amy. Be well, and say hello!
