- Paris to the Moon, Adam Gopnik (he has a new book out for NYC called Through the Children's Gate, but I haven't read that yet)
- books by Anne Lamott (you can check out some of her stuff in the Salon archives, she used to have a column there)
- books by Calvin Trillin
the last good book i read was The Perks of Being a Wallflower but i bet you've already read that one because i think i am the last person under 25 to have read it.
i'm reading Catch-22 and The Zombie Survival Guide right now. they're ok.
