When I checked the weather yesterday, it said snow showers for today, and I thought, "No way! December just started!" Sure enough, when I woke up this morning, it was snowing. Can you believe it? I managed to go out for some groceries this morning, snapping some quick photos along the way. I admit, it's always fun walking around in the snow. But then again, I actually like cold weather. Is that weird? Probably.

Oh, it's snowing again.

Anyway, my friend and I were talking about how Fall never really happened. It's been this odd fluctuation of warm to cool to cold to warm again. Suddenly, we're thrust into Winter and, at least I am, left scratching my head wondering what in the world just happened. I have a feeling that Spring won't quite happen either and that we'll be left with the extreme seasons and never the in betweens. Which makes me a little sad because I love the in between seasons the best. Man, Al Gore was right.

Liking the cold is weird, yes. I savor the feeling of being warm when it's cold outside, I enjoy the look and feel of snow, I love waking up to see the world is all covered with white...but I'll be outside dressed in no less than 3 layers until June, thanks.

I can't believe I'm going to have to walk to class every day with it that cold outside. The wind seems to pass through everything and freeze my insides. Not fair at all.

Oh well...
