![]() Most of the time when you're honest about something, your friends will say nice things or say some version of, "Nah, you're the best! Don't worry about it!" (I'm completely guilty of this.) But there are some friends that will be completely honest with you back, and to me, that is incredibly refreshing. It's like, "Thank you for not disagreeing with me! I really am that lame!" That is totally awesome. Of course, there is a balance between these two because sometimes being honest all the time can land you in hot water. I'm sure we were all taught that when we were younger. "Kids, lying is good... sometimes." No TrackBacksTrackBack URL: http://www.toastier.org/cgi-bin/mt/mt-tb.cgi/247 |

I think that I go to different friends depending on what I want to hear. With my best friend, I know she'll tell me I'm awesome no matter what, but with school friends I know I'll get the painful truth. I try not to be the person who always says the nice and easy thing, but so often I am.
our friendship-love blinds us, apparently. its only when you get to know them really well that you can pick up on what they're NOT saying in the conversation ;)
