![]() Strolling through a department store, I decided to look up. I don't know why I looked up, but my mind said, "Amy, look up." So I looked up. Christmas decorations. My mind reeled as I sputtered, "But... but... Halloween? Thanksgiving...?" At least I haven't heard Christmas music yet because that's what we would call "too soon." But I feel like anything would be "too soon" because it certainly doesn't feel like Fall anymore. The weather for the upcoming week will be in the 70's, and that's what we would call "weird." And I believe "weird" would also be the perfect term for describing Christmas decorations in October. No TrackBacksTrackBack URL: http://www.toastier.org/cgi-bin/mt/mt-tb.cgi/282 |

Urgh, I've been seeing the same here in Melbourne. Christmas trees and decorations everywhere! It's ridiculous.
I swear that eventually they'll just sell the stuff all year long, and we'll no longer be able to tell the differences between the holidays.
On the other hand, at least you had to look up, implying that not EVERYTHING has been covered in tinsel and fake snow...yet...
