Today is Cinco de Mayo;
we celebrate the culture and heritage of dear Mexico.
It is not Mexico's Independence Day,
a misconception we often say.
It is for the defeat of the French at the Battle of Puebla,
wherein General Lorencez was bested by General Zaragoza.

Mexico's Independence Day is September 16th, woohoo!)
